BLYTHWOOD, SC – April 26, 2018 – Charter NEX Films, Inc. is excited to announce that we are only 6 months away from starting production in our newest facility located in Blythewood, SC. The site will feature the industry’s latest blown film extrusion equipment and will employ approximately 120 employees.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster recently expressed his excitement for the new facility, “The jobs that this investment will create for South Carolinians clearly show Charter NEX’s commitment to our state and our people. We are grateful that this great company has decided to choose South Carolina for its new location, and we look forward to the future prosperity that we know will come from this partnership.”

The new manufacturing capacity will be used to support growth across our existing customers in the packaging industry as they continue to meet the rapidly evolving needs of consumers.

“We are excited with the progress of our new plant in Blythewood, SC. The team has worked hard to not only make a state-of-the-art facility but also to keep the project on time in light of construction delays. This plant will be a showcase for Charter NEX’s exclusive focus on film and our relentless pursuit of finding A Better Way.” – Fritz Stuedemann, Vice-President of Manufacturing
