Charter NEX to launch GreenArrow® Recyclable Multi-layer Barrier Films at the 2018 Global Pouch Forum

MILTON, WI – April 27, 2018 – Charter NEX Films recently launched GreenArrow®, a family of sustainable film solutions to meet consumer demand for more environmentally friendly packaging.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and our relentless pursuit of finding A Better Way, we are excited to announce the expansion of our portfolio to include a 100% recyclable multilayer barrier film that provides both moisture and oxygen barrier properties.

At next month’s Global Pouch Forum in Miami, FL, Scott Hammer, Product & Applications Manager, will co-host a panel entitled “Success Through Collaboration in Recyclable Stand-up Pouch Development” to share this exciting new development.

The new stand-up pouch meets the requirements set forth by the How2Recycle® program and has broad applicability in applications such as dry foods and snacks, frozen foods, and much more.

Our GreenArrow® platform includes three product families:

Reduce:

  • High performance specialty films for downgauging
  • Bio-based specialty films

Reuse:

  • Starch-based films
  • Multilayer films using post-consumer resins (up to 40%) for single ply film packages

Recycle:

  • 100% recyclable PE films for lamination and stand-up pouches
  • New! 100% recyclable multi-layer barrier films for laminations / stand up pouches
